Seasonal Fundraising Event Committees

GOLF COMMITTEE

Members plan the details for annual event, including sponsorships, donations, meals, prizes, contests and special details. Meets once a month for 6 months prior to this springtime outing. “Business on Course” is networking in a casual setting.

FASHION SHOW

This committee plans the details for this annual event, including theme, models, sponsorships and donations. This annual fall event meets once per month for 6 months, to plan this festive opportunity to showcase our retail partners.

FISHING DERBY COMMITTEE

Members plan all the details concerning the Chamber’s annual Fishing Derby; held in June. Responsibilities include securing sponsorships, food vendors, prizes and volunteers. Meets once a month to plan this June event, drawing thousands of families and showcasing our Business Sponsors.

EXPO

Business to Consumer meets once a month for planning this event. This annual trade show provides affordable booth space for exhibitors and draws the customers in with this themed event featuring giveaways, food and entertainment.

CELEBRATIONS

Newly formed committee to recognize businesses that go above and beyond for their employees, the community and the Chamber. Also serves to recognize the Heart and Soul of the Chamber, our volunteers. The Celebration of Excellence awards dinner is held every January.
 

Active Committees

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

This committee works to provide open communication between the business community, area governmental bodies and elected officials. They also strive to keep the general membership informed on issues and legislation affecting area businesses. Meets monthly, year round.

MEMBERSHIP

Meets once per month, year round. This committee hosts new member receptions, ribbon cuttings and grand openings. The membership committee are the ambassadors for the Chamber and new member mentor’s.
